Description

This Image was born from a visit to the New Mexico location where Georgia O'Keefe did many of her paintings. This area near Abiqu,( where her second and permanent house is located) is where she spent a lot of time walking with her dogs and doing her art. Its often referred to as the Ghost Ranch. This image captures the last moments of sunset over Ms. O'Keefe's humble adobe house (at the bottom of the image). I find it apropos that it seems so small and humble next to the vast larger than life landscape of New Mexico. For me it is a perfect reflection of Ms. O'Keefe's attitude toward life and art.
